The Nexis or Earth is where the action begins (the start of the story), like in Oz or Wonderland the main characters come from ‘Earth’ are transported to a realm in the Zenescope Universe. And the denizens of the realms call earth ‘The Nexus” because it is the crossroads between the realms.

If an inhabitant of Oz or Wonderland for example wanted to reach each the other’s “realms” they must pass through Earth first. Oz-to-earth-earth-to-wonderland. For instance, Robyn Hood’s story began in New York on earth, but she was transported to the “Myst” and through cross-over events she made appearances in other realms, and before she enters a new Realm she must pass through earth.

On this way-station, The Nexis many tales begin, some continue, and others end, that’s the beauty of Zenescope Comics all the realms are connected, but separate and each is accessible by every character just by passing through earth!
