Find Several Great Comic Books on Sale Now from December 2013 at White Dragon Comics
December 2013 is a magical month. Gifts, family, celebrations all come in December, and comic books.
Some of the greatest comic books published came out of December of 2013. Marvel and DC Comics, Image and IDW Comics, Dark Horse and Zenescope Comics gave comic book fans all-new, exciting tales full of adventure and crime fighting.
Marvel Comics and DC Comics kept a tight rein on the top ten selling spots in December 2013, with Marvel Comics, Origin II # 1 taking the number one slot. Avengers # 24 followed in the second slot, with DC Comics Batman # 26 coming in at the third best selling comic book. DC Comics dominated the top ten spots in December taking six spots. DC Comic’s top six included Batman # 26, Forever Evil #4, Superman Unchained #5, Justice League #25 and #26 followed by the engaging Harley Quinn #1. Marvel Comics took the last two slots with Inhumanity # 1 and Superior Spider-Man # 23.
IDW, Image and Dark Horse Comics had strong sales in the month of December 2013. Image led the pack taking five of the top one hundred slots, followed by Dark Horse. Image Comics Walking Dead was the company’s bestseller this month, while Dark Horse Comics, Star War snagged three spots in the top one hundred best-selling comic books. IDW Publishing's My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic #14 placed in the top one hundred, making it Dark Horse’s bestseller. However, it was Boom Studios collected covers for their Adventure Time comics in the art book, Adventure Time: Eye Candy, which was December's best-selling book in the comic book specialty market.
The top five Graphic Novels in December 2013 were DC Comics Fables, Volume # 19 , Boom’s Adventure Time, Volume #2, IDW’s Richard Stark's Parker: Slayground, Marvel Comics took the fourth and fifth with Deadpool Kills Deadpool and Star Lord: Worlds On The Brink.
