Lark has a new friend by the name of Henry Hotspur, who's handsome, brave, dashing, and already proved himself to be a man she can rely upon when the chips are down - which they almost always are for our young heroine.
And the best new is, he's much more age-appropriate, just in case nature takes its course.
At the same time poor Brenar is still dying, but not yet dead.
She really should step up her efforts to get him some help, right?
